“The worldwide touring industry has stopped. We have the momentous opportunity to come together and come back better, more organized,” said TM App founder Timothy Burkhead.
“We have a great respect for those who have the vision and the imagination to envision a better world – the things and products and services it will take to get us there,” said Gil Beverly, Senior VP/Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer for the Tennessee Titans and Pitch for Good: Music and Entertainment Edition judge.
Six cutting-edge music and entertainment entrepreneurs pitched today for the opportunity to walk away with financial grants for their businesses and a chance to pitch for a Titans sponsorship in January 2021.
FanFlex founder Erik Nelson, and TM App founder Timothy Burkhead each won $2,000 grants for their businesses, while Ira Akers, founder of CUE Audio, was awarded the title of “Crowd Favorite” and a Nashville Entrepreneur Center scholarship.
Winners were determined by a panel of professional judges, including:
– Gil Beverly – Senior VP/Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer for the Tennessee Titans
– Brian France – Former CEO and Chairman of NASCAR and Founder of Silver Falcon Capital
– Sammy Rubin – Co-Founder of Triller and founder of Big Room
– Damon Whiteside – CEO of ACM – Academy of Country Music
Winners from each Pitch for Good event in 2020 will get the chance to present again during Pitch For Good: Tennessee Tough, for the opportunity to win a yearlong sponsorship with the Tennessee Titans.
