Position Overview

FanFlex is looking for an unpaid Product Marketing Analyst Intern that is interested in working where music and technology intersect.  The internship would feature the ability to work with both marketing and tech development teams.  As part of the FanFlex team you will gain valuable tech development, marketing, and data analytic skills.

What the virtual internship is:
· The Product Marketing Analyst will be responsible for uncovering insights about our business and leveraging data to optimize our user acquisition efforts. You will work with our product development team to uncover actionable insights that will help drive optimization for our marketing campaigns and product strategy.

Knowledge/Experience Preferred:
· Experience analyzing large datasets, preferably within tech
· Experience working with and optimizing consumer conversion funnels · Experience with Big Query, Data Studio and basic MySQL
· Experience with data collection tools (Google Analytics, Fullstory, Hotjar, etc.)
· Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform

Tasks

-Support the continuous improvement of our marketing and product efforts by tracking and analyzing user data from tools like Google Analytics, Fullstory, Hotjar, etc.
-Collaborate with Product to implement new analytics tracking tools
-Leverage data sets and reporting from these tracking tools to derive insights to lead to better business decisions across the marketing and product teams and drive revenue
-Build dashboards that clearly convey the performance of our user acquisition programs and impact on overall company KPIs
-Perform deep dive analysis to understand drivers of marketing performance and generate insights for future campaigns
-Proactively identify trends, opportunities, patterns, anomalies, spikes and other occurrences in data sets that will help increase sales and profitability from existing products and campaigns and potentially lead to ideas for new revenue streams

Learning Goals

-Improve communication skills so that you can clearly present your findings to non-technical people.
-Learn strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Assist with creating targeted marketing campaigns based on data and analytics.

Requirements

Weekly virtual team office hours multiple times a week with individuals that are highly involved in the music industry, as well as, individual one-on-one virtual meetings throughout the week.
