The first-ever show from FanFlex, a new live music and touring app that uses the crowdfunding model to deliver live music to fans demanding it, will have its first show, featuring Mickey Avalon, Thursday, Dec. 11, at The Standing Room in Hermosa Beach.
On the Fanflex app – available now free in the iTunes AppStore – musicians create a campaign offering fans the opportunity to request “flex”exclusive tickets, as well as limited edition merchandise and premium fan experiences. If the fan demand meets the goal set, the show is “flexed” and it’s on. FanFlex was created to provide unique fan-funded shows, experiences, and opportunities in venues and locales where the act may not have necessarily considered playing before.
