Social Media & Brand Marketing Internship

Are you a student who loves live entertainment and has a strong interest in Social Media & Brand Marketing? FanFlex is looking for an unpaid Social Media & Brand Marketing Intern to join our team! As an intern on this team, you’ll learn how a startup in the industry drives successful Social Media & Brand Marketing strategies that impact our brand across Southern California.

What the internship is:
· Work closely with the owners of the company and other team to support content strategy and special projects.
· Research and help draft Social Media & Brand Marketing materials to include social media posts, copy, pitch emails, etc.
· Maintain brand social community engagement and editorial calendars.
· Interest or familiar with creating social analytics reports and dashboards.

Requirements:
· Currently enrolled in undergrad in a 4-year program.
· Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week from home or remotely and attend office hours at least once a week for 2 hours.
· Eligible for course credit internship opportunities that are unpaid.
· Strong social media skills (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
· Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Artist Liaison & Show Representative Internship

As our Artist Liaison & Show Representative Intern, you’ll have endless opportunities to connect with musicians and attend local shows. You’ll learn how FanFlex is engaging emerging musicians and changing the live music industry through fair and creative practices.

What the internship is:
· Responsible for finding and engaging local performing musicians on social media and thru other forms of communication.
· Network with the 4,000+ musicians that have signed up with our platform to drive completed shows.
· Act as a liaison to the FanFlex platform to the artists, leading conversations from initial contact to pitching and teaching the free platform and it’s benefits.
· Interest and familiar with local music scene.

Requirements:
· Currently enrolled in undergrad in a 4-year program.
· Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week remotely, which includes 2-3 evening shows per week, and attend office hours at least once a week for 2 hours.
· Eligible for course credit internship opportunities that are unpaid.
· Strong communication skills and customer service oriented.
· Must be detail-oriented and organized.
· Must have vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Additional Notes:
· All mileage to/from venues and show related expenses (parking, cover charge, etc.) are completely reimbursable.

Public Relations Internship

Interested in learning what it takes to create a press release and drive media buzz around a new company?  Interested in networking with bloggers and other online writers and trendsetters?  Then join our PR team.  On this team you’re gain valuable public relation skills and relationships as you build your writing reputation and portfolio.

What the internship is:
· Responsible for writing and posting weekly music/tech related blog posts on the FanFlex website.
· Establish relationships with influential online bloggers, trendsetters and tastemakers in music and technology in order to secure press for FanFlex, it’s platform, artists, and shows.
· Research and apply to startup and app competitions, incubators, and accelerators.
· Assist with gathering and distributing key metrics and data of FanFlex through company, artist, venue, and investor one-sheets.
· Contribute to marketing, publicity and promotion for artists and venues on the platform.
· Interest in music and the startup world.

Requirements:
· Currently enrolled in undergrad in a 4-year program.
· Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week from home or remotely and attend office hours at least once a week for 2 hours.
· Eligible for course credit internship opportunities that are unpaid.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Video and Graphic Creator/Editor Internship

The Video and Graphic Creator/Editor Internship will drive the design and digital media content creation.  Come be a part of a music and tech startup leading the charge in changing the live music landscape.  Stretch your creative skills as part of a team where music and technology meet.  Build upon your skills that you’ve learned in the classroom with real hands on work experience.  Walk away with produced content and designs for your portfolio.

What the internship is:
· Create weekly video and graphic content for social media and web distribution.
· Serve as creative partner in identifying best solutions and techniques to convey and display content through video, photography, and motion graphics/animations.
· Design company promotional and tutorial graphic and video packages.
· Create show wrap-up videos.

Requirements:
· Currently enrolled in undergrad in a 4-year program.
· Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week from home or remotely and attend office hours at least once a week for 2 hours.
· Eligible for course credit internship opportunities that are unpaid.
· Prior experience designing, animating and/or creating motion graphics.
· Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Audition, Premiere, After Effects).
· Education or experience with graphic and video design principles and execution.
· Interest in designing for interactive and social media.
· Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Web Editor Internship

The Web Editor Internship will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of FanFlex’s front-end website. Build upon classroom knowledge and skills and apply to a real world business to find creative ways to improve and advance the technological framework and functionality of the site for both desktop and mobile viewing. While working closely with the owners of the company, you will be able to take a simple vision and run with it. Enjoy creative freedom and independence with the projects assigned.

What the internship is:
· Assist in the development and maintenance of the WordPress based website fanflex.com, including: web site content writing, adding website features (light JavaScript, PHP, and CSS coding), updating and revising website forms, setting up newsletter subscription and distribution, on-page SEO optimization, website debugging, and plugin install.
· Create and implement a searchable artists gallery using our artist database.
· Create and implement a searchable venue maps gallery using our venue database.
· Implement affiliate product marketing / referrals page.
· Provide site improvement recommendations, such as how to improve load speed, improve display and functionality, etc.

Requirements:
· Currently enrolled undergrad in a 4-year program currently working on a listed degree with interest in Website creation, and Software Development.
· Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week from home or remotely and attend office hours at least once a week for 2 hours.
· Eligible for course credit internship opportunities that are unpaid.
· Beginning knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript desired.
· Must be detail-oriented and organized.

· Can lead to increased responsibilities and paid project work upon successful completion of internship.
